072 What the Bible Says About Social Justice and the Gospel
Without question, God cares about the poor and underpriviliged and He tells us to do so as well. But Social Justice as a “gospel issue” is positioned to be the latest “other gospel” by adding good works to the good news. Since “works” is more attractive to our old nature, we are in danager of losing the true Gospel just as the mainline denominations did under the Social Gospel a hundred years ago.
